TWO:

Tim Etchells: 'WAIT HERE I HAVE GONE TO GET HELP'

Tim Etchells is a british multi-artist, who is not afraid of theatre, books, or - as we will experience tomorrow - neon signs.

with simple, short phrases, written in the form of light captions, he is creating short statements. simple, yet mysterious phrases, messages and instructions are usually creating confusion, discomfort, self reflection, reflection, intimacy. signs, that one 'meets' in the streets, shop windows, rooftops, galleries or wherever, are not fully understandable. but in order to understand the meaning of signs, the lack of it is very necessary.
all the locations tomorrow:
Jakopič gallery, Kresija - Pogačar square, Ajdovščina underpass - ex Kapsula, IRIU - Resljeva street.

until 24.4.2013

a month later

whenever i am this much away from my blog, it means i have a job. i am a freelancer and having a job normally means i work 12 hours a day, not to mention that i probably work the other 12 hours too. and whenever i have a free days: i sleep, visit my parents or meet friends or just... stare into things.
and lately, i have been occupied 24/7.

what else happened in this month? my silent blog has been nominated 'liebster award' - favourite by Valentina (studio trinajst) and Ana (talking to vulcano). thanks to ladies for this award, though i think this is more an award for being a friend than for a favourite blog. therefore, to continue this tradition, i would like to nominate these blogs:
tea&hana at pitypartyforlesspopular
petra at forpeetssake
nikolina&urska at thewaywemissedfashion
jessica at jessicacomingore
mads at anabundanceof

as valentina said, there are rules:
'The rules for accepting this award are:
You need to thank the person who gave you the award and link back to their blog. Post the award onto your blog. Give the award to five bloggers who you appreciate that have fewer than 200 followers. Leave a comment on their blog letting them know that you have given them this awesome award!

Next you need to PAY IT FORWARD!'

of course - i read these blogs on regular basis and are my favourite. i don't really care if they have more than 200 followers. i love them.

ok, what else? i turned 30 at the beginning of march. i turned 30. i turned thirty. that means i can sit in a rocking chair and start telling you things that happened in my life, so you could learn from my experiences. i have memories of passed times that seem that never really happened - times when there was still no internet and cell phones looked like a luggage to capri for few days.
ok, kidding. i like my age. i am aware of the whole process and to live means dying. and to live means to gain experiences. i guess.

and a friend of mine, who was also nominated 'upstairs', tagged me on her blog. i get to answer questions she asked:

when was the last time you did something for the first time? What was it?
- last time i drank my coffee before eating my breakfast, which was incredible. i've never done anything like that before, because i love my rituals, but this one was something else. i might keep it like this. i mean - i might drink my coffee before brushing my teeth first, too, but... that would be just silly, don't you think so? i mean - you need to know how to get out of your comfort zone, but sometimes enough is enough...

when and where were you the farthest from home (give miles/kilometers)?
- in 2009 i had a business trip to killadoon, co. mayo in ireland. 2936 km from my home. that place over there is a-mah-zing!

where were you and what were you doing on Tuesday, March 26, at 11 a.m.?
- working, probably. wait... yes, working. i was waiting for my boss outside of her place, to take her to the office. i am a taxi-secretary, but luckily for one more day. after that i quit this job and start working at another, less disrespectful job. hopefully less disrespectful. :)

what are you wearing at this very moment? the truth. and no running to the closet and changing either.
 - i am wearing a black t-shirt, black sweatpants, mustard yellow socks, gray cardigan AND gray jumper. it's 3:30 and i am still in my morning mood. and looking good.

skinny dipping - for or against?
- i don't see the reason against it. i mean - boobies levitating in the sea is something everybody should experience.

cats or dogs?
- cats. and dogs. and unicorns. but i have the most honest meltdown with my three cats.

if you had to choose, would you rather be completely blind or completely deaf?
- i'd just rather stay completely stupid instead.

do you fold or scrunch your toilet paper?
- gosh, this is complex question - i usually scrunch it, but then i press it to my thigh, so it feels folded.

if you could switch bodies with a famous person for a day, who would you switch with and why?
-yuri gagarin. i would choose a day, when he stepped on a moon. because. of. that.

what's your mother tongue and which foreign languages do you speak?
- my mother tongue is slovene, but i am fluent in english, serbo-croatian and czech. i understand italian, but i have few issues with that language. i also understand slovakian. slow slovakian.

if you could have a super power, which super power would you choose to have?
- night vision. because my life wouldn't change a bit because of it.

my questions:

  1. your favourite online store and why?
  2. what do you hate buying the most?
  3. what thing on your bucket list would you like to right now?
  4. what's your favourite word in general?
  5. what's your favourite curse word?
  6. what's your favourite occupation on free days?
  7. if you were to work in circus, what would be your speciality?
  8. if you were to write a book, what would be the title and what would be the genre?
  9. what's your totem animal?
  10. recipe for your favourite meal...
  11. men - with moustaches or without them?

pass this on

it's been ages since i had a little bit of time to write something on my blog... but my beloved Ana passed on a game and i am lucky enough to be 'the chosen one'.
as Ana said, the challenge is to write and share six (6) things that most of the people doesn't know about you.. me. :) and i'm just in the mood to share some juicy details from my life, yes sir!

1.) i like watching crap on TV and youtube. i love watching late night show and late late night show and chelsea lately and even the crap like the x factor (uk is awesome) and stuff like that. except kardashians and jersey shore stuff, i can't look at people with orange tan and pale pink lipstick.

2.) i hate going to the dentist, but the thing i hate even more is getting needles when i am there. blood, sewing stitches, needles and all things (all kinds of) doctors do give me nausea. i am the last person you want near yourself, if something happens to you and your life depended on another person. i'm the one who will most likely start making funny noises in order to avoid hearing what you have to say about your recent accident. no, no, no!

3.) i love bad weather. rain, storms, hails... i don't mind. at the moment of writing this, we have about 60cms (or more) of snow and i love it too. really. but rain makes me go bananas, really. i get madly excited!

4.) i don't like going to bureaus and getting signatures and doing paperwork. i know - who does. i do, though, have this ability to shut my brain off when i am near places like that. i just reset my brain, forget all i have to do, i become a goldfish. i breathe and i walk and i look. that's it. i often feel like they speak mandarin chinese to me. non comprendo nada, signora!

5.) i am also not the person you would like to watch movies with. whenever 'an autopilot' kicks in i tent to say things like: 'oh, i wonder how they filmed this scene' or 'this guy/girl played the blabla in that-and-that movie.' or: 'this is a lousy green screen' ooor: 'where was their script supervisor?'
i hate myself for that.

6.) in few words major secret will be revealed: c.bukovski. that henry.

i pass this on: peet and eva

2013

this year had a terrible start. it all happened to fast and with such an intensity, i had to push these things aside. but everything is okay now.

so now would be a great thing to do. i wish you to be moved this year. moved to the core. you are allowed to think whatever you want with this wish, really. all is good. :)
